MAPS Program 2014

Inner Path of Inspiring Leadership – Connecting Mind & Heart

The world, as well as Singapore and Indonesia, face urgent and compelling leadership challenges in political, economic, social, technological, healthcare and eco-environment – all these require concerted collective actions.

The MAPS program is designed with the following practices;
M – Mindfulness
A – Actionable
P – Presencing
S – Sustainable

Participants in the MAPS program will learn, apply and practice interdependent elements of Mindfulness, U-Process and Presencing such as:

  • Four levels of responding to systemic change
  • Three (inner) instruments: Open Mind, Open Heart and Open Will!
  • Accessing and bringing forth one’s authentic self
  • Overcoming three barriers in one’s inner work
  • Understand and practice the five movements of Actionable Presencing (as a social technology) and Mindfulness for one’s inner transformation

Mindfulness is a mind-body medicine practice and meditation techniques. It was brought into mainstream Science by Jon Kabat-Zinn, a researcher at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. According to Kabat-Zinn, Mindfulness is an internal resource that all of us already have within us. The idea is to channel or direct this resource to transform our relationships with stress, emotions, pain, and illness.
